Fort Lowell Park is a 65.1-acre municipal park located at 2900 N. Craycroft Road in North-Central Tucson that preserves the historic site of a U.S. Army post established in 1873. The park features a museum housed in the former commanding officer’s quarters, swimming pool, tennis courts, sports fields, walking paths, ramadas, and playgrounds, along with preserved adobe buildings and artifacts from the territorial era. Open April through October daily from 8 a.m. to sunset, the park serves as both a recreational destination and cultural landmark showcasing Tucson’s military heritage.
