Big Woods Lake

Big Woods Lake Campground and Recreation Area, located at 1501 East Lake Street in Cedar Falls, is an 86-acre lake facility owned by the City of Cedar Falls and managed by Black Hawk County Conservation Board, offering RV camping with full hookups, three cabins, tent camping, and a 12-acre campground. The recreation area provides diverse outdoor activities including fishing for largemouth bass, panfish, walleye, and northern pike, no-wake boating, kayaking, canoeing, and access to the Cedar Valley Trail System with over 100 miles of interconnected hard-surface bike paths, making it an ideal destination for water enthusiasts, cyclists, and nature lovers.
