Columbus Park Sprayground

Columbus Park Sprayground is a municipal recreation facility operated by the City of Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department located at 1921 SE 1st Street in the McKinley School/Columbus Park neighborhood. The 5.4-acre park features a themed sprayground with water features, a pirate ship-shaped playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic shelters, and restrooms. The sprayground operates seasonally from May 1 through September 30, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and serves as a community gathering space for families to enjoy water play and outdoor recreation activities.
