Johnston Splash Pad

The Johnston Splash Pad at the Town Center, located at 6245 Merle Hay Road in Johnston, Iowa, is a free public water play facility operated by the City of Johnston Parks and Recreation Department. The splash pad features six above-ground water features and 21 inground features, including interactive ground sprayers and tower misters activated by visitor sensors, and operates daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. During winter months, the facility transforms into an ice skating rink, serving as a year-round community gathering space with shaded seating areas and walking paths throughout the Johnston Town Center complex.
