About
Hickory Hills Park is a 723-acre county park in La Porte City, Iowa, owned and managed by Black Hawk County Conservation. The park offers recreational opportunities including camping, fishing, hiking, disc golf, basketball, picnicking, and a wildlife exhibit, along with access to Casey Lake and scenic trails through the unique geologic feature known as Casey’s Paha. Established in 1969 and featuring a park ranger in residence year-round, Hickory Hills Park is open year-round and serves as a premier destination for outdoor recreation in Northeast Iowa.
