New Albin Splash Park

The New Albin Splash Pad and Playground, located at 193 NE 1st Street in New Albin, Iowa, is a community recreation facility operated by the New Albin Improvement League (NAIL), a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 with the goal of enhancing the town’s park amenities. The facility features a 1,500 square-foot splash pad, playground equipment, basketball courts, a shelter area, and public restrooms. NAIL fundraised over $280,000 for the project, which opened in 2021, and has continued to expand community amenities including plans for a community garden, supported by grants from the Wellmark Foundation and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
