Greenbelt Lake
About
Greenbelt Lake is a 19-acre public park located at 900 Martin Road in Waterloo, Iowa, part of the larger 1,100-acre Katoski Greenbelt. Created in the early 1970s, the lake offers a perimeter trail, fishing opportunities for largemouth bass, catfish, bluegill, and crappie, as well as excellent birding and wildlife viewing opportunities. The park features amenities including a fishing pier, kayak launch, picnic shelter, and is a popular destination for hiking, birding, and water recreation managed by Waterloo Leisure Services.
