Katoski Greenbelt

The Leonard Katoski Greenbelt is a 1100-acre natural area located in Waterloo, Iowa, featuring an 8-mile stretch of the Black Hawk Creek with multiple trails for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. The greenbelt includes a 19-acre lake, prairie areas, and is known for its seasonal bluebells and diverse wildlife. Managed by Waterloo Leisure Services, the greenbelt offers recreational opportunities including fishing, bird watching, and picnicking for residents and visitors year-round.
